Jazze Pha Is The Celebrity Judge In The Upcoming Pride 360

Pride 360 is a contest sponsored by KFC and hosted by a celebrity judge each year. Fans can log onto www.kfchitmaker.com browse music and vote for outstanding songs. All songs are geared toward positive reinforcements or are atleast required to do so in order to progress in the contest.

Jazze Pha a legendary music producer is endorsing a  song contest. Jazze will help to select the winners of KFC’s “Hitmaker” contest, which will launch this month. It invites aspiring artists to submit songs that offer a positive message for a shot at prizes and national exposure.

Now in its fourth year, the contest is part of KFC’s “Pride 360″ initiative that encourages positive work in the community. Jazze will help select winning songs based in part on how well they address themes such as family, heritage and community.

In the past the contest has been endorsed by rappers like David Banner and MC Lyte. During the 2009 Pride 360 contest Lyte was quoted as saying “I look forward to showcasing artists who can use their skill on the microphone to talk about things that are really important,”.

The songs will be posted to the “Hitmaker” Web site, www.kfchitmaker.com, where visitors can listen to them and vote for their top choices.

Once selected, 12 winners will have their songs featured on the Pride 360 compilation CD, and a grand prize winner will receive a “Hitmaker recording studio,” including a MacBook Pro, Logic Studio software and speaker system. SubZero617’s “Long Range” is competing in the KFC Hitmaker Pride 360 contest.
